Location: Pinner North West London- Structural Survey November 2020.
Issue: When conducting a survey a high Voltage cable connected to a Pylon was noted running over the property.
Within the deeds to the properties, there may be easements/ covenants in place with the Power companies, these can limit a freeholder from extending or raise the property without permission from the power lines, consent to plant trees within 4.8 meters of the power lines and consent will need to be required to have and heavy machinery greater than 4.8 meters such as pilling rigs, cranes and mobile cranes.
The powerlines which run immediately above property results in quite high magnetic fields, which cannot be screened against, within the rooms of the properties.
