We were appointed by the Building Owners to notify all of the Adjoining Owners of the proposed works. The Adjoining Owners’ properties were semi-detached houses based in Golders Green which is within the London Borough of Barnet and is close to Finchley, Hampstead and Muswell Hill.

Discussions were had with the Adjoining Owners regarding the proposed works and the options available to them under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996. One neighbour chose to consent to the works and just have a Schedule of Condition and the other one did not respond to the notices or the ten day letter and we had to appoint a Surveyor on their behalf.

Following a site visit to carry out all of the Schedules of Condition, our Party Wall Surveyors prepared the Party Wall Award which was served in a timely manner, allowing the Building Owner to proceed with her works and all neighbourly relations maintained.
